Sand on the carpet
Sand is filling up the room
They never notice
They never said a word or two
She watches out the window
As she forgets that she's still there
Turns back and finds her but to get closer
She would not dare
Oh, she would not dare
They say that things like these take time
But sadly time is running out
She doesn't know it
Pray that it's not too late because there's
Sand on the carpet
Sand is reaching 'til their knees
She don't feel nothing
She doesn't know that she's still free
Looks like she's trying
To get a closer look
Swept the sand off, kept her hopes up
With every step she took
Oh, but the sand's falling faster
She finds it hard to reach out towards her
It's even harder to walk away
They say that things like these take time
But sadly time is running out
She starts to realize
Pray that it's not too late
They say that things like these take time
But sadly time is running out
Don't know how she's going to make it
Through this sandstorm on her own
Confused on what to do and where to go
Like there's a timebomb, pressure's on to know
So, is it too late?
