The pirate life, it drew me in and has me wanting more
As I boarded my first ship, my will, it had been torn
To do the things that others do, pegasi and unicorns

On my first trip around, I knew that something wasn't right
I can't look out, can't hold a rope, or produce natural light
The captain takes one look at me and he begins to say
If you can't keep up, you'll be sent to sea in far less than a day

I grip the rope between my teeth, but it slips out constantly
