In the azure sky, Icarus soared high
Wings of wax and feather, daring the sun
His father's warning echoed faintly
"Fly not too close, my son."
But hubris whispered louder
And Icarus climbed, defying fate
He brushed the sun's fiery embrace
And his wings began to disintegrate
Plummeting earthward, flames licked his skin
He screamed, a fallen star in descent
Not to the sea, but to hell's abyss
Icarus met his fiery end
