Drinking the rays from the sky
She droops and he lays upside down
Neither can speak back to me
Perhaps if i was a tree
I could stand up in a park by a seat
And not wonder
What the hell their leaves are trying to say to me
I've only known them for a single day
Yet the colour has returned to the room
Sometimes i find them in my dreams
When i wake i do not remember a thing
The dark fell upon a waking sky
Eyes open
As i watch them tell me it will all be fine
