Tomorrow I'll wake up and head out for the day
I'll pass the rainy potholes while I'm on my way
I'll run on the crosswalk where cars stop and wait
I'll live a routine that I know I can play
Tomorrow I'll wake up to family and friends
And then I can dream safe and sound in my bed
Delaying the thoughts of what still lies ahead
As I haven't dared bring up my future yet
That's a lie, but I'm not willing to try again
Beause sometimes the nightmares scare me a little
There's a line that I feel like everyone else knows how to toe
But where my line goes, and what the rules are, I don't know
But the future's surprising, who knows what it wrote
It may hold my hand, it may keep me afloat
If I stop to breathe I may actually sail through
The clouds'll part above me and show me bright blue
But 'till then, tomorrow I know there's nothing new
Tomorrow I'll look forward to
