Here I go again, everything's the same
Same as yesterday, yesterday has come and went
So, I'm moving on today
But today is at its end, it's already been and went
I've wasted all this time that could be better spent
Every day I wake, it's another take
Of the day before
And I'm thinking to myself I should do so much more
But it's just the same
And it's driving me insane
Like a never-ending game
Got a living to obtain so here I go again.
Got to earn a living, decent earnings now are rife
Since when's it mandatory to earn to live a life
Get your ass up every day, you have to get to work
I'll just call in sick today, I don't give a f*ck
Giving all my time to work, repeating 9 to 5
I've got to earn my living if I want to stay alive
But I'm not going to work today, the boss is out of luck
They can dock my pay today, I don't give a f*ck
If they try to call me, I'll just ignore their call
Truth is if I answered there'd be nothing wrong at all
Then they'd start to hound me, why the hell you not at work?
Truth is if I answered, I'd say I don't give a f*ck
I don't need to justify the reasons I don't care
I'd simply truly rather be, anywhere but there
They say it's me and tell me it's my attitude that sucks
I reply by stating simply that I just don't give a f*ck
Here I go again, it's a brand-new day
And I'm on my way, to make my daily pay
It's all work no play
Running kinda late, there will be debate
My timings run amok
The only fight I have is the fight against the clock!
When I show up though the boss is at the door
Document in hand he states that I don't work here anymore
Hand's it over, on his face, there's a stupid little smirk
I'm the winner though, relieved now from the stresses of this work.
Back to where I was before, no income once again I'm broke
The payoff is that I am happier, not working as a joke
Now I have the time to find some work where I'd rather be
