The wind's calling
Drifting on the breeze cold rain glides
On this spring's ascent a somber sky cries
All has fallen
Warmth I'd known, said its goodbye
For here you lie as still as night in Sunday's twilight
Angel you will carry on deeply remembered
Reflecting on past times
Recalling the days I'd never cast aside
Dreaming to once more hold
All that had always brought forth shine
Lying here at night
I can't help feel you watching over me
No matter how alone here it may seem you're always here with me
Rain and moonlight glaring off the trees reveal your expressionless face
Loose leaves freed by the faintest breeze drift on paths shadows trace
The bright light I hold dear inside, I send to light your way
You've passed on though in this heart of mine, your home it will always remain
With these hands I hold you tight to shelter you from the rain
Look inside you will find
Someday together we'll be again
