Looking at the way that seems easy
Looking at the path that seems so hard
The one is wide and presents no obstacles
And it looks like it'll take me far
But the other one looks treacherous
Yet, still it calls to my heart
Which way will I choose
I choose the road that is narrow
I choose the path few trod
I choose the one less traveled
I choose the more difficult one
For life lies at its destination
And light lights this narrow way
More brightly than the constellations
Leading to a treasure indescribable
Yes I choose this narrow road
I have stumbled and I've fallen down
I have failed more times than I can count
And every time it leaves me bruised and broken
Like a siren I hear the wide road beckon
But I remind myself of where it leads
And I want life for eternity
So repeatedly
I choose the road that is narrow
I choose the path few trod
I choose the one less traveled
I choose the more difficult one
For life lies at its destination
And light lights this narrow way
More brightly than the constellations
Leading to a treasure indescribable
Yes I choose this narrow road
I choose - in spite of pain
I choose - in spite of heartache
I choose - in spite of being an outcast
I choose, I choose - Jesus
I choose, I choose - the one who died
I choose - the one who rose to give me new life
I choose the road that is narrow
I choose the path few trod
I choose the one less traveled
I choose the more difficult one
For you lie at its destination
And your light lights this narrow way
More brightly than the constellations
You're the treasure that is indescribable
Yes I choose Jesus
I choose this narrow road
