CritThePoet - Reflections! Meditations of a MAN MAN Lyrics

CritThePoet - Reflections! Meditations of a MAN MAN Lyrics
Official

Inward, direct my reflections
In words, address the perception
Subjective, meditations of madness, subjected to pressures
Life lessons
The hidden message
Sand of a hour glass, carrying the past through the present
True wealth is internal
Its buried treasure
Born in the ghetto
Skin tone of colonialism
Indigenous, ninety percent aboriginal
Institutionalized
Welcome inside, the mind of a prisoner
Social constructions become reality when we practice them
Money would have no relevance if we chose not to imagine it
From the shadow
We allowed the Devil, to attribute life to an adjective
I live for a cause beyond, self preservation
The culture of hiphop, fascinates me
The clock struck twelve
My appearance is an apperation
Rise with the fog, when Gods tears fall on Hell and start evaporating
These rappers are not as deep as me
Sensor my rhymes, honour the vow of secrecy
Disrupt the channel scramble the frequency
Im rearranging pixels on the screen
The manifestation of belief
Lungs compressing oxygen atoms
Step to the stage, alter its state of matter
Let my voice echo off each bar
As these words travel past you
Glass shattering
Sound waves, holding you captive
You keep pushing forward
The grounds shifting beneath your feet
Your moving backwards
Living scripture missing pages from the final chapter
Im just a mad man
Reflecting on my actions
Evolving, adapting
This is what happens
When pain, becomes talent
My passions, driven by the beauty of madness
They can not understand me
I am not from this planet
I was dropped off in a capsule
Like superman, when he landed
Goku in the gravity chamber
Its time to invert the pain, go supper sayon
Fighting for freedom is just in my nature
Never been in it for the pursuit of fame
Im in it for something greater
Their times up
The people are rising, like riots in Paris
They've wised up
Even though they grow tired, they've opened their eyes up
From Minnesota to Santa Monica
Peaceful protests become volatile
Words are more powerful then the sword
When spoken from the heart, the truth can't be ignored
Im painting a picture from the eyes of a solider at war
Be forewarned, the imagery can be graphic
Reflecting, meditations of a madman
