The dawn, renewed horizon
A life built on tomorrows
Resistant to change, or welcome difference
Two arms move in a circle, wave a warning
Concentric circles, ripples of my indifference
On pointless thoughts i swither
But like this symbol stone, let me be shaped by
Water, fault and incident
Reflect on dulling detail
And learning how to bravely alter
Old suffering will forge new fortune
Calloused hands, applauding overcoming
It mattered at the time, treacherous turning faces
But past defections of loved ones will not shake my faith
Distance and silence between
A will to fill the void with iridescent opal
And colour our lives in its diffracted spectrum
Mysterious yet pure, i hold it out to you
Reaching, healing
In kind arms that envelop as a womb
Protect this flickering glow and the promise that keeps us
Capricorn, transported through my optic nerve
Repel this fog with a brilliant light
You'll ponder on the where, when and how
But with two hands we're drawing a circle
With this timeline around us, like a catherine wheel
It sparks to signpost a galaxy we've borne with the oldest energy
Immeasurably, indefinably ours - that which heals, elates
Inspires and mercifully holds
Return to where it all began and celebrate
Two hearts beat in time, two paths align
We simply call it the bubble
Stirring up all the stardust inside you, i'll recite the lines
"The snap, the clank, the creak and moan..."
As much as you are in my heart
