Have you ever heard the story of the Mayonnaise Dolphin
Swimming around in the vinegar sea
Rubbing fins with the ketchup sharks and the tartar sauce swordfish
About as happy as a condiment creature could be
Now the Mayonnaise Dolphin was gentle and kind
The friendliest creature in the vinegar sea
Whenever he swam by the coca-cola coral reef
Everyone would join in harmony
And they'd sing
There goes the Mayonnaise Dolphin
There goes the Mayonnaise Dolphin
There goes the Mayonnaise Dolphin
There goes the Mayonnaise Dolphin
Life below the surface seemed pretty wonderful
All the creatures of the deep living happily
But one day, a shadow came, and it blotted out the wonder
And fear replaced the serenity
'Cos the word got around
Among the terrible beings who ruled above the ground
They'd heard rumours of a creature of the ocean
And they all longed to be the first to catch this rarity
So the nets and the harpoons came pouring down
Plunging deep into the vinegar sea
One net was wrapped around the Mayonnaise Dolphin
They started to haul him up for all to see
But the word got around
Among the beautiful creatures who swam below the ground
And together they came, to make sure they don't return again
They swam to the surface and they overturned the boats
And sent the monsters to the depths below
Then the creatures gathered round the Mayonnaise Dolphin
They tore at the net until he was free
Because a creature who is gentle and kind
Deserves to be treated equally
And perhaps a lesson can be learned from this imagined fantasy
There goes the Mayonnaise Dolphin
There goes the Mayonnaise Dolphin
There goes the Mayonnaise Dolphin
There goes the Mayonnaise Dolphin
