Good people all, this treasure time
Consider well and bear in mind
What our good fortune for us done
Steer wandering vagrants to Avalon
With all that's holy well should we pray
That a generous sky might bless our day
For on that isle upon the morn
We'll cross the arbor and be reborn
The night before that happy tide
The noble Merlin, our sage and guide
Were long time seeking up and down
To find a rhyming, somewhere a round
But mark right well what came to pass
From every safe house repelled, alas
As was daresaid, our refuge all
Was sorely humble, a forest's pall
The bright encampment in our keep
Where soon before some could take their sleep
A snowy visage did appear
To furl our huddle in awestruck fear
"Arise and travel," the vision said
"Nor'west o' Fleetwood, beyond the glade
For there you'll find, this happy morn
Your first desire in Avalon"
With thankful heart and joyful mind
We cantered westward the isle to find
And as the vision had foretold
We did a lush paradise behold
With all that's holy well should we pray
That a generous sky might bless our day
In Avalon upon the morn
We'll cross the arbor and be reborn
We'll cross the arbor and be reborn
