Taylor Swift is among the nominees for the Songwriters Hall of Fame's class of 2026.

The 35-year-old Swift becomes eligible in 2026, 20 years after her first commercial release (her debut single Tim McGraw arrived in June 2006). If selected, Swift would be the second-youngest inductee in the Hall's history, behind only Stevie Wonder, who was enshrined in 1983 at age 32.

Swift is a finalist in the performer-songwriter category alongside David Byrne, P!NK, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, Sarah McLachlan, LL Cool J, The Go-Go's, Boz Scaggs, Kenny Loggins, Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings of The Guess Who, Richard Carpenter of The Carpenters, and Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell of America.
