Taylor Swift is among the nominees for the Songwriters Hall of Fame's class of 2026.
The 35-year-old Swift becomes eligible in 2026, 20 years after her first commercial release (her debut single
Tim McGraw arrived in June 2006). If selected, Swift would be the second-youngest inductee in the Hall's history, behind only
Stevie Wonder, who was enshrined in 1983 at age 32.
Swift is a finalist in the performer-songwriter category alongside

Paul Stanley of

Sarah McLachlan,

The Go-Go's,
